Arts & Crafts & Cook-Out!

Sunny Sunday and we had lots more good times with our Chachu, Chachi and Jackson.....plus special guest Miss Anna (Jackson's Grandma!) She is a very talented artist, so it only seemed appropriate for us to break out the paints and the pumpkins and make our own fantastic pumpkin masterpieces!! Chachi set out a sheet in the backyard, and she had bought all kinds of colourful paint (including my fave colour pink!), so it was a great afternoon of creative crafts (Aunty Holly would be proud of us!) Not only did we get to paint pumpkins, we also painted some woodens masks....that's me, Chachi and Mummy up top, did you recognize us? Our pumpkins turned out pretty awesome too - we displayed them on the front porch on a haybale together. Here's a couple pics of the creative process, in process! After doing such a great job at painting our pumpkins, it was time to reward ourselves and bake Miss Anna's famous chocolate chip cookies....I couldn't be happier! Chachi let me pour the chocolate chips into the mixer, I was a great sous chef. The rest of the day involved a cook-out (that's southern talk for a bbq) of homemade burgers....mmmmmm, and of course more play time together with Jackson. That's the best part of being together, just hanging around, having fun and laughing with each other. We loved a few toys the most....the firetruck and hat (we can never get that song out of our head), and also putting the playmat pieces over our heads! All 3 of us had one piece on at one point, but here I am with a few pieces just on me, we're so silly! And check out the video of us dancing together - Jackson had a great CD of music we listened to all the time (and we got to bring a copy home for us too!) Another wonderful day...and still more to come. Lots of love, Audrey & Violet xoxo
