For our last afternoon and evening in Florida, we headed out after our nap for a nice sunny stroll to Downtown Disney - a boardwalk area with shops, restaurants and lots of fun things to see! Here we are with Daddy at the entrance, ready for some fun. The first thing we did was hunt out some ice cream - you could smell the waffle cones a mile away! Mmmm. Mummy and I enjoyed our treat!
And there was a mini train right next door so we had a ride on that too - this is our style of ride, small and steady!
Of course, we did some shopping too - and lookie there, we found Sleeping Beauty!
We spent almost an hour in the store shopping for some last-minute Disney treats....I got a Daisy Duck doll and Vila chose a Sleeping Beauty stuffed dolly. There was a Lego store there too and they had HUGE sculptures, including this Lochness Monster behind us in the lake, see it? Wow!!!
We had built up quite an appetite after our afternoon so shopping and strolling so we went to Bongos, a cuban restaurant that Mummy said was owned by Gloria Esteban, a famous singer. Vila and I didn't really care about that, but we loved the bongos outside the restaurant and took our turn making our own music.
Finally, you may be wondering if we ever met Mickey Mouse on our trip? We did! We liked the "still" ones the best - easy to crawl on and take pictures with!
That's it for our Florida adventure - what a great time we had, thanks a million to our Grandma and Grandpa for giving us this great trip and time with our family! We love you, and loved seeing our Baby J and Chachu and Chachi, and hanging in the sun. xoxoxo Audrey & Violet

Relaxing by the pool....& other simple things
Our hotel had a great pool and Vila and I loved hanging out and splashing in the water. We got to practice our swimming skills - I even did a few kicks hanging onto the edge, and Vila enjoyed just splashing Daddy. The weather was perfect and we got that vacation-relaxed feeling, with nothing to do but just be together and enjoy the sunshine!
It was a great morning and then we went up for a nap before our afternoon out at the boardwalk - that's coming up next! But check out our playgound pics - looks like a great time, eh?
So enjoy this picture of the palm trees and the blue sky - ahhh, feels good just looking at it, right? That was our playful, restful morning and more good times with Mummy & Daddy that afternoon. Stay tuned! xoxoxo Audrey & Violet

Grandpa Moments
Our Grandpa loves to have fun! Check out his cool hat for proof of that.....and his smile! He is a silly Grandpa who love his music and loves his neat new things. At the Magic Kingdom Parade, he had the best time of anyone in our group. That's him, snapping away to the music below.
And at Animal Kingdom, he found a neat "String Thing" that shot out a loop of coloured yarn so fast that it seemed to dance right in front of you!
We love you our fun-loving Grandpa - glad you had so much fun, we are here to do that, be together and celebrate your 70th birthday after all! xoxo Audrey & Violet
Meeting the Princesses!
YAY! On the Wed of our trip, it was the day I had been waiting for - meet the Princesses Day! Violet and I were very excited to get into our own Princess outfits for the day. Check us out with Mummy above, ready to leave for our Princess brunch. And since Violet was being a particularly Smiley-Viley, check out her full-length photo below - she looks great it orange : )
We left the boys at home and headed out for our glamourous morning with Grandma and Chachi.....girls day! Chachi was the one who booked this brunch for us (thanks SOOOO much Chachi) and we were excited to finally meet all our fave Princesses. We arrived and met Cinderella outside first - she was so pretty! I'll have to scan that picture later for you all, promise! Inside, we got seated at our table and had some yummy pastries.....and then Snow White came over, yay! From there on in, it was a virtual parade of Princesses to our table!!! Sleeping Beauty (my fave), then Belle and Ariel....wow.
Before we left to rejoin the boys, we took a pic of all us girls together ---- and see the wand we got from the restaurant too. How lovely! It was a perfect Princess way to end our brunch. What an incredible, indelible day for Violet and I.....magical memories. Thanks Grandma, Chachi and Mummy for our wonderful girls morning out together! xoxox Audrey & Violet

Hollywood Studios, here we come!
Hollywood Studios - woo hoo, you know how my Mummy loves the Hollywood life!! First stop was a little scary though - the Tower of Terror! Apparently it's a scary elevator ride in this run-down hotel. Not exactly something that Violet or I was into, so we let the parents go have their fun - I think I could hear Mummy screaming all the way down! Violet's face says it all - no thanks to that Mummy!!!
Instead we preferred to go see a show - another typical Hollywood experience, right? We saw our one of our favourite Princess shows - Belle in Beauty and the Beast! Can you see her on the stage there, just over Violet's head? She was beautiful!
We also had some of the best fun of the trip just hanging around outside with Jackson, out of our strollers, chasing bubbles near the toy cart! While the parents went on another thrill-seeking adventure (the Aerosmith rollercoaster!), we had the most fun just chasing bubbles.....simple joys! The nice lady at the stand put out almost a whole bottle of bubbles for us!
After a long day at the park, we went off home and had a nice dinner at our hotel and got ready for our next jam-packed day of adventures......xoxo Audrey & Violet

Roooar....Animal Kingdom & Safari Adventures
Day 2 and off to visit the animals! This was perhaps our most fave experience (outside of the Princess breakfast...more on that later : )) It was a gorgeous sunny day, with beautiful trees and plants that made us feel like we were in a jungle!!! First up, family picture in front of the huge tree before we set off on our adventures.
They look just like they did on their honeymoon picture with the lush plants in the background.
The main event for us all was the safari where we got to experience what it would be like in Africa seeing the animals.....here's us taking off in our Jeep!
And look at how close that giraffe is, crazy right?! We also saw rhinos, gazelles, and elephants too - it was pretty awesome.
The other thrill of the day was riding the Expedition Everest rollercoaster - that was an adults-only ride for Mummy/Daddy and Chachu/Chachi. They were pretty pumped about it!
With lunch at an Asian restaurant, and some chai-wallah tea, and more gawking at that AWESOME tree (it had animals carved into it!), we headed home, all tuckered out. xoxo Audrey & Violet
Magic Kingdom at Disney World 2012!
Yay! Our first trip to Disney World, home of Mickey and Minnie and all things magical. It was warm and sunny and it was so nice to have the whole family there to enjoy it, right in front of the castle where the Princesses live! We had fun on a few rides, even just waiting in line for them! Winnie the Pooh's house had great bongos to play on, and Vila loved pushing the bee through the pots of honey.
And we rode on the Mad Hatter Tea Cups, something Mummy did as a girl with Nanny and Gramps and Aunt Holly.
We also rode the carousel and "It's a Small World" where Jackson feel asleep, silly little guy. Of course, Mummy had told us Tinkerbell was in the park, and look here....she landed right on our hands! Hope you all had magical times this past week too - we have plenty more experiences to share with you soon, keep reading....xoxox Audrey & Violet

Happy 70th Grandpa - From Florida!
It was a milestone birthday for Grandpa, so he invited us all down to Florida to help him celebrate! And it was a big family reunion, because Chachu, Chachi and Jackson came too! Here we are at the celebration dinner on his actual birthday - January 21 - having some indian-inspired food at Sanaa restaurant.
We got tons of bread and naan with dips - mmmmm, we love naan!
Grandpa loved the food and the whole restaurant decor - and asked us to take some videos and pictures of the place too.
It was a great dinner and great start to our vacation - well except for the broken cab on the way there, but we know that will be a story to tell for years to come! Here's some family pics from our night out, including Grandpa and hi cakes and his boys! Plus Mummy and Chachi, sistas!

January Randoms!
After Christmas, we had a bit of a lull in our blog updates - sorry fans! But we're back and catching up!! January WAS a fun month for us - even in the cold weather, Vila and I still know how to play around and have some laughs. We went to the blue park near our house and went down the slide many many times!
And we tried out our new Costco membership - where I got a new purple dress I picked out all by myself. Vila thought I was pretty cute too - she did a lot of smiley faces for me.
When we finally had some good snowfall, we went outside and built our first snowlady of the year - Frostina! She's tiny but she's there, you see her?
And finally, just before we went away on our vacation, we went and got Vila a hair cut....she wailed her way through it, but look how cute it turned out?! Don't worry Vila, you'll grow to love your visits to the salon when you're older I'm sure.
That's a bit about our January pre-vacation.....stay tuned for some posts on our Disney trip soon!!! xoxox Audrey & Violet
