On Wed Oct. 26, it was Diwali! That's the celebration of light over darkness, and generally a time to wish everyone health & prosperity for the year. Grandma and Grandpa gave us some special Diwali coins with the goddess of Lukshmi (who symbolizes wealth and prosperity) and Lord Ganesh (the elephant who symbolizes auspisciousness and wisdom) to place on our table, along with our candles to "light" up our night. See how pretty it looks?

And our tradition is to order some Indian food in.....so this year we had saag paneer, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, aloo gobi and naan of course! Naan is Violet and mine's favourite!! So listen up to our Diwali message and we wish you all a year of health, prosperity and good times with family and friends.....as Vila would say "Happy Dee"! Love Audrey & Violet xoxo
