A Water Wonder World at the Aquarium....plus some sweet tea!

On our last full day in Atlanta, we went to the BIGGEST Aquarium in the world!!! How much fun to run around and see all these different colourful fish, sea horses, whales....wow, it was amazing to see. Jackson, Violet and I really loved the huge walls of water, where we could go right up and look in the glass together. But it was kind of dark inside at places, so Daddy had to point things out sometimes. Meanwhile, Jackson was perfectly content to get a lift up to a perfect seat to view this really neat corral starfish! But I think my favourite part might have been getting to pick out my own gift at the gift shop - thank you Chachi! Both Violet and I got our very own mermaids.....and that deserves extra snuggles with our Chachi of course! After a fun morning of water wonder, we were hungry for lunch. Mummy had specially requested to go get some southern fried chicken, a real treat! And you can't have some fried chicken without some sweet tea y'all! We went to Mary Mac's and had our lunch - and Mummy needed her pic with her fave food. She got fried green tomatoes and creamed corn on the side, while Daddy got sweet potato souffle and butter beans. Mmmm mmmm mmm, it was worth the wait (it had been over 3 years since Mummy and Daddy had been there last time!) When we got home, more playtime for us kids and Violet and Jackson had a great game of "look at me" through the glass, ha ha! As our time in Atlanta wound down, we made sure to get a couple more pics - Mummy hugging our sweet cousin Jackson, and me sitting on the lovely porch rocking chair, waving bye bye to our little vacation. Finally, it was time to hit the road to the airport the next morning, so we did our best kissies for everyone (video below) and were off to Toronto again.
