What a beautiful Thanksgiving Day we had - the sun was out, and it was over 25 degrees....just gorgeous!! It was a perfect day to head out to a park - we went to Andrew Haydon Park, which had a duck pond, a windmill, ducks, a playground and beautiful trees! Perfect for strolling and duck watching with Daddy and Grandpa.

They had a great playground at the park - Violet and I had tons of fun! We each tried some time on the bouncy horses....Violet was a little more stoic than I was, she takes her bouncy-horse riding very seriously (and aggressively - you should have seen her go!)

We even got a pic together riding one behind the other.

The playground had a great wooden pirate ship too - with portholes!!

We started to get hungry after our playtime, so we picked a nice spot by the lake and set out our Thanksgiving feast - grilled cheese, grapes, strawberries and cookies! What more could you need? A snuggle with Mummy was nice....

And Violet showed her appreciation to Daddy with a tap of thanks!

To end our yummy picnic, we all had a "cookie" cheers....yay, who gives thanks for chocolate chips?!

After such a yummy picnic, it was time to go home. Daddy was there to give Vila lift (she returned the favour by mashing his face with her hand, silly Vila!) and then gave me a lift when we got close to the car - I was all smiles after our fun day outside.

Finally, check out our Thanksgiving day message to everyone - hope you all had a beautiful day and Thanksgiving too! Love Audrey & Violet xoxo
