Every Fall, it's a bit of a tradition for all families to go out and see a pumpkin patch, and we were so lucky this year to be in Atlanta to check out one of the best in the south! We jammed into our mini-van (a fun ride for all 7 of us together!!) and headed out to pick out pumpkins and enjoy some sunshine. This pumpkin patch had not only orange pumpkins, but white and blue ones too, it was really cool! Once we arrived, we all squeezed through the pumpkin fields to find some lunch - Daddy and Chachu were good leaders for us little ones.

For lunch, they had some really yummy treats to enjoy --- bbq pork sandwiches, potato chips, and of course we had to have some pumpkin pie. It was such an ice day we say outside and had a picnic together.

After lunch, we were all fueled up to get our pumpkins....but of course, the Mummies wanted pictures of the three of us together, so they tried to corral us in between the pumpkins, but we were having so much fun playing together, we never looked the same way at the same time.

No matter, we each enjoyed our own little photo shoot with the pumpkins of our choice - check out each of our model-worthy pics with our fave pumpkins!

Finally we had to pick some pumpkins to purchase - Violet went straight for the white ones and tried to haul one away by herself.

I particularly liked a smaller baby pumpkin.

And an extra bonus, Chachi Stephanie let me pick a fall scarecrow for her garden...how much fun to pick one out!

Finally it was time to go....but not without a pic with Mummy.

She is usually the photographer or our trip so she had to get a photo with us on our fall trip. We bundled in the car, made a quick stop at an apple orchard for apples and ice-cream, and then off home again. What a great trip for our pumpkin patch experience of 2011....all the better because we shared it with our Southern family! xoxo Audrey & Violet
