After living here for almost 5 years, Mummy and Daddy still hadn't tried Burger Priest, a little dive of a burger shop that was voted one of the top 10 restaurants in Toronto. So to kick-off our long weekend, Mummy went and picked up some tasty burgers and fries to eat on our porch. FYI, porchside dining has been our standard lately, as the weather has been so good.....so nice to be outside! Here's a pic of Mummy's "Priest" special - a burger with cheese with a deepfried mushroom with cheese in it as well.
WOW! Daddy just had the regular cheeseburger and me and Vila had McDonald's (although surprisingly,we didn't eat our burgers at all!) Anyways, the verdict on Burger Priest?? Delish, although maybe not as awe-inspiring as we'd been led to believe.
To walk off our burgers, we went to the park, and wouldn't you know it....the local ice cream truck was tinkling around. We heard his song and Mummy went running to get us a soft-serve cone! Lucky us. Violet and I split a vanilla, and even gave Mummy some. We're pretty good at sharing sometimes!
