Party Day for Vila!

Our little Vila, our little baby sis, is turning 2!!!  Can you believe it?  Since Daddy had to leave on a work trip, we had her party a few days early on Saturday Feb 4.  That meant we could have Auntie Holly and Nanny and Gramps over as well since it was a "Mummy/Daddy Day" (ie weekend!)

When everyone arrived, we started opening presents - and there were a lot of them!  Check out Violet with her new activity cube and Princess bath dolls above (thx Mummy and Daddy) and her many balloons below, including a talking Tinkerbell balloon (thx Nanny and Gramps)!

She also got a Weebles bus (thx Aunty Holly and Uncle Guy!) and a Winnie the Pooh book, chandilier and clothes (N and G), some college money (thx Grandma/pa!) and some other fun things too (thx Chachu, Chachi & Baby J!).  Lucky Vila!  Are you doing your "big smile" with your presents and your snack below?!

After presents, we of course did some running around - Vila and I love to chase each other and be silly.  Here's our Vila, all smiles at her party and on the run! 

We can be pretty silly too - maybe a trait inherited from our Nanny and Gramps?  See Nanny's silly face with me?  Funny Nanny!  And Gramps seemed to enjoy Vila's sunglasses, hee hee!

Oh yeah, we had cake!!!  Didn't I tell you that?  After a great dinner of lasagna and corn, we had a yummy chocolate cake with pink flowers.  We sang Violet Happy Birthday and blew out the candles. 

It was sooo good.  So good, that Gramps had a SECOND piece (almost unheard of for Gramps to have seconds of dessert!) and Nanny just had to give me a cake-y kiss.

Violet even put her feet up at the end of the meal, silly Vila!  She sure seems satisfied, doesn't she?! 

What a birthday! Another great year Violet - here's to many more for you, my baby sister!  We all love you soooo much!!!! xoxo Audrey, Mummy and Daddy and all the rest of your family!!!
