For our last afternoon and evening in Florida, we headed out after our nap for a nice sunny stroll to Downtown Disney - a boardwalk area with shops, restaurants and lots of fun things to see! Here we are with Daddy at the entrance, ready for some fun. The first thing we did was hunt out some ice cream - you could smell the waffle cones a mile away! Mmmm. Mummy and I enjoyed our treat!
And there was a mini train right next door so we had a ride on that too - this is our style of ride, small and steady!
Of course, we did some shopping too - and lookie there, we found Sleeping Beauty!
We spent almost an hour in the store shopping for some last-minute Disney treats....I got a Daisy Duck doll and Vila chose a Sleeping Beauty stuffed dolly. There was a Lego store there too and they had HUGE sculptures, including this Lochness Monster behind us in the lake, see it? Wow!!!
We had built up quite an appetite after our afternoon so shopping and strolling so we went to Bongos, a cuban restaurant that Mummy said was owned by Gloria Esteban, a famous singer. Vila and I didn't really care about that, but we loved the bongos outside the restaurant and took our turn making our own music.
Finally, you may be wondering if we ever met Mickey Mouse on our trip? We did! We liked the "still" ones the best - easy to crawl on and take pictures with!
That's it for our Florida adventure - what a great time we had, thanks a million to our Grandma and Grandpa for giving us this great trip and time with our family! We love you, and loved seeing our Baby J and Chachu and Chachi, and hanging in the sun. xoxoxo Audrey & Violet
