Yesterday was Mummy's birthday! And yay, Daddy came home that morning too so we all celebrated the morning together. Vila and I gave Mummy a talking book - we had some cuddles on the couch to help her open it.
Then Mummy had to go to work, but wow, she was impressed as Daddy sent flowers to her office. Look at those beautiful flowers - as Mummy says, never underestimate the joy that flowers bring!!
Tonight, Mummy and Daddy had a date night...and took their annual Birthday picture (you never know what may appear in our yearly collage!)
Then they went out to AMUSE, a gorgeous little restaurant in a house south of Queen Street in the beach (our neighbourhood, don't you know). It's a real gem, they had a fantastic dinner ---- scallops, grilled cheese appetizers, followed by duck and ribs for mains and they shared a yummy dessert too. A great way to celebrate and close to home too....good because Mummy was up early to go to Vegas for a trade show (and some birthday shopping) the next day.
