For the first time in the history of this blog, this is a posting with NO pictures of me or Violet! For a very special reason......this past Friday (April 29, 2011) was THE event of a generation, the Royal Wedding of Prince William and his Princess, Kate Middleton! See her above, isn't she beautiful??? As Mummy was born in England, she was very excited to celebrate the occasion - she's been planning it for a couple months now! She went on Thursday night to Nanny's house, where Auntie Holly joined her too --- the Procktor girls celebrated in style! Complete with a sapphire/diamond ring (just like Kate's - thanks Stephanie Chachi!), a "Will & Kate Forever" teeshirt (thanks Auntie Holly) and engagement mugs (Mummy bought them), they were ready to watch it all happen!
The TV coverage started at 3am, so Mummy was up at 245am, followed by Nanny around 4am, and then they got Holly up at 430am. The wedding didn't happen until 6am, but they had to watch all the arrivals and all the fashions and hats! Since it was so early, they got a little giddy with their tea - see them posing with their pinky's up?? Ha ha, they're so silly!
They had a traditional feast for brekkie - the first round of brekkie was scones, creme fraiche, a fruit tray, clotted cream fudge and of course, more tea!
The second round of brekkie was courtesy of Chef Gramps ---- he is the best at an English fry-up! They had eggs, tomatoes, and crumpets and toast....mmmmm! 
And of course, here is the picture that they'd all been waiting for - the KISS of the new Prince & Princess, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!!! 
Hope you all had a chance to see this amazing event too - may they be happy for years and years to come! And one day, I'll be a pretty princess getting married too.....but not for a long, LONG time according to my Mummy & Daddy, I have lots of growing up and fun kiddie time first!! xoxo Audrey & Violet
