This weekend, my Chachi had her baby shower in Atlanta, while Chachu came up here to Toronto to have a "boys" weekend. And of course, the best part is that we got to hang out with him! Here we are reading on the couch (above), and staring out the window together (below).
One of the funniest things that happened was that he confused Violet! When Daddy and Chachu were in the same room looking at Violet, she seemed to wonder why there were TWO daddies....there is a strong family resemblance and you could see her little mind working to figure out why they looked the same, but there was something different? Hmmmm. She doesn't often see Chachu so it was funny to see her confusion. She kept moving her head and darting her eyes back and forth between Daddy and Chachu, trying to figure it out! Ha ha Violet - when you get a little older, you'll realize that Chachu is Daddy's brother, much like I am your sister. But for now, just know that they both love you very much. It was really fun to see you and hang out Chachu - come again soon, and bring Chachi, and soon-to-be baby boy Jackson!!! Our cousin-to-be arrives in October, we can't wait! Lots of love and kisses to our Atlanta family, Audrey & Violet xoxoxo
