Wow, what a day! As part of my birthday present, Mummy and Daddy got us tickets to see "Elmo Live" downtown today! Vila stayed home (and was a very good girl for our neighbourhood babysitter Kayla), while the rest of us got in the car to go see my favourite furry friend, Elmo!! See how happy I am in the car? Mummy and Daddy had been telling me for days about it! Once inside, we got an Elmo water bottle and went to our seats right near the stage. There were big flow-de-ders (that's how I say flowers) on the stage, and then it lit up with lights and all my favourite friends came out.....Cookie, Bert, Ernie, Abby Cadabby, Zoe, and of course Elmo! It was a bit scary at first as it was loud, but soon enough I loved it and even danced in my seat a little and clapped too. I met a new friend too....the Count (uuh, uh, uh! I imitate him quite well now).
Just as we were leaving, they were selling Elmo balloons, so of course we had to get one. Here we are in the car going home with my special balloon!
