Sunny Happy Day!

Guess what? We had an EXTRA day off this weekend! And what better way to spend it than out at the park. We thought Jackson should see our fave playground, and it's right by the boardwalk and the water too. First, the slide! Jackson really enjoyed it and went up and down several times.

Violet also enjoyed the slide area, although she liked standing at the top and "driving" a lot too. She has a natural born independent streak!

We also loved climbing around and underneath the slide - especially Jackson and I, we loved the window. Peek-a-boo, here we are!

 
The big teeter-totter is also a fan favourite. Viley was lucky enough to get it all to herself at one point.

After an hour or so of playtime, and collecting acorns, and having snacks (we never go anywhere without a bag of snacks, don't you know?!), we decided to head to the boardwalk. Chachu gave me a lift.

The beach is one of Mummy's most favourite places, and today was no exception. The water was sparkling, so we ran to the edge and started throwing rocks and running around to enjoy the good weather. Here's a family shot of Jackson and Chachu and Chachi!

Violet had quite the arm, and kept throwing her rocks into the water - she may have a natural talent there (future baseball player like her dad?)! Just stay out of her way, aim is not a strong point yet!

And a picture of me, Vila and Mummy - ahh, what a beautiful day, it really does make everyone feel all shiny and happy and relaxed to be out by the water!

What better way to understand what an amazing day it was than to see our video below - we only wish that Grandma/Grandpa didn't have to go that morning, and that Daddy didn't have to go to work. But we know there will be more sunny days to share with family - many many more in the future. And for that....on this Thanksgiving weekend.....we give thanks.
