Visiting the McReids!

On Sunday, we had our second breakfast (some call it "brunch", but not if you've already had your first meal at 630am!) in Aurora.....we visited the McReids! Nice and early we popped into Pearly Pat and made it to Aurora for 10am, so plenty of time to play and catchup with our friends. McKenna and her Mummy were the perfect hosts, serving up delicious muffins and croissants....mmmm! After we ate, it was off to their beautiful backyard to play with McKenna's toys. She has some great ones - a real mini shopping cart, a playhouse, swings.....and so much backyard with lots of big trees! Check out McKenna hiding behind one from her Mummy! And Violet really enjoyed the playhouse, she was waiting at the window/counter for anyone to come over and say hi. Sure enough, McKenna came in to give her a hello (and a swift push to the side too - ha! I understand McKenna, Violet likes to take over my toys a little too much too!!) Meanwhile while the Mummies chatted and the kids played, the Daddies talked important stuff with their arms crossed - a good "Daddy" like pose, eh? What a great morning we had, but all too soon we had to jump in the car and get back home so Violet could get her nap. You know what she's like when she doesn't get her nap in her crib - yikes!
