It was Violet's 21 month birthday today - and to celebrate, she stayed home with Mummy as she was still recovering from croup (she actually was fine, but Erin at daycare wouldn't let her come back....so yay! Mummy day for Vila!) So now, the picture above? What's that about? Little Miss Vila started doing this new thing just over the last day. It's called "big smile Vila!" and then she scrunches her eyes up and lights up just like this! A real cutie-patootie smile (but she hardly stays still long enough for us to get it, hence a bit blurry!). And what else is new for her lately....hmm, she is walking with determination in her stride now - it's quite fun to see! She practically RUNS for her chair when we say dinner is ready! And she can even do quite a bit of dancing now - she has great rhythm! More on that in another post. As for the rest of her 21-month birthday....she went for a walk with Mummy, and Violet got to pick out her lunch (KRAFT dinner of course! she held it all the way home).
And they went to the park too and had a swing and a slide. Pretty perfect day.
So Happy 21 Months Violet! We love you more and more each day, xoxo Audrey, Mummy & Daddy. PS When I was this old, baby Vila had just joined us and was only 3 days old. Can you believe it? Mummy and Daddy couldn't even imagine having a third baby right now, crazy!
