AAA-woooo! That's our wolf howl, learned at Great Wolf Audge.....uh, I mean Lodge... on our VACATION, yay! Our whole family went for a 2-day getaway to this waterpark and kid-approved vacation resort in Niagara Falls. When we got there, we immediately fell in love with all the cool things in the lobby - including Slim, the singing oak tree. And there was a mother bear, Mo Moose, a racoon, and two baby cubs - we loved them all. They sang every morning at 10am and at story bedtime at 8pm too.
Picture time with the animals - even our Mummy Bear and Daddy Bear wanted pics with them too.
Remember I said there was storytime? Here is Vila and Daddy sitting outside listening to the story on the pool deck. Guess what? They read "More Pies!", one of our fave books by Robert Munsch (illustrated by Michael Markchenko ---- I know that too you know!)
The other really cool thing about GWL.....the rooms! We had a Kid Kamp room, so Vila and I got our very own room that looked just like a tent, plus we had bunk beds (but Vila slept on the floor anyways), and we got our own TV. Good thing, as Mummy and Daddy wanted to watch a lot of Olympics which would have interfered with our Treehouse time.
We did tons of cool things at the Waterpark, and there was an arcade and kids club room too - but for now, we'll end this post with a pic of us all on Mummy/Daddy's bed, eating pizza and watching a movie ---- one of Mummy's dreams of things to do on this trip together. Aww Mummy, glad we made your little mummy-dream come true....at least for a few seconds before jumping off again, ha!
