Guess what? We had a Hawaiian themed day at the beach last this weekend! It was "Aloha Toronto" (a benefit for the local kids hospital) so there was lots of fun Hawaiian themed things to do. For Violet and me, that meant watching the Hula show!!! Wow, we were entranced and watched the whole time. There was even a little 5-year old Hula girl - she was great! It's giving Mummy ideas to put me and Vila into bhangra classes.....so watch out for that in the future, I think that would be quite fun for us!
After Hula, and a skewer of Hawaiian pork (great snack!), we set off to the KEW Beach playround and got some wading time in at the pool. Here are the girls on splash patrol - watch out Daddy, stand back or we'll get you!
Then it was time for dinner at our new fave, Beach Bird, followed by ice cream at Menchies, and the long walk home. Well, wagon ride for Vila and I, but Mummy and Daddy were happy for the walk to burn off their ice creams! Me and Viles.....we ride in style, ha ha ha!
