On Monday June 7, Violet turned 4 months old!!! Wow, these months have flown by....my little sister is becoming quite the big baby (not big girl....that's me!) Highlights of the last month with Violet: * Rolling over!! She does it all the time now - check out this cute pic from Monday, look at that concentration on her cute pudgy face.
* Smiles! She really does smile quite often, especially when you talk right to her. Violet loves attention, and she'll cry really loud sometimes when you leave the room (especially when Mummy leaves).
* Bumbo Chair Sitting. Violet is becoming a pro, although her little legs are so chubby, they don't quite fit in the grooves anymore, so she's a little squished up when she sits!
* Sleep issues! Okay, maybe not a "highlight", but a hallmark of the last month. Violet switched to her crib right after my birthday last month, and let's just say she is having a hard time adjusting. Mummy and Daddy are up and down a lot these nights, but I seem to have no trouble sleeping through it all (phew!)
* Bath-Time Kicking - Violet LOVES her bath, and kicks up a storm!! The floor of the bathroom is frequently soaked. Check out the video for a taste of Violet's bath time crazy kicks!
That's all the news for now on Violet - her "stats" are coming next week, when she has her doctor's appointment....we're sure she'll be tipping the scales! Love you Violet, happy 4 months of being my sister! Love Audrey xoxo
UPDATE!!! Violet's Stats at her doctor's appt on June 14th. She continues to be a big girl (100% plus in all stats) and is outpacing me by a lot (my stats at 4 mths in brackets below)!
Weight: 16 lbs 12 ozs (vs 14 lbs 3 oz)
Height: 67cm (vs 64 cm)
Head: 44cm (vs 42 cm)
