My Aunt Holly moved in with Uncle Guy....thus, we visited their "Golly Manor" home today! It was such a nice house, with lots of charm and personality and the best part - a veggie garden!!!! Violet and I had fun checking out the tomatoes, and picking them off the vine with Uncle Guy and Nanny.
Plus Nanny and I did some gardening in the front yard.
Mummy liked hanging in the backyard best, and was eager for some hugs!
We stayed for dinner, and had the best homemade pizza, with fresh tomatoes and basil.....Mummy took a pic of our yummy feast.
Uncle Guy put on some records (have you heard of those? they practically don't exist anymore!) with some great music like MoTown, Ella Fitzgerald and the Beatles....it was a really nice dinner, with some ups and downs to feed me and Violet, as usual of course! Plus Aunt Holly and Uncle Guy made us popsicles for dessert - avocado and blueberry!!! Mmmm. After our veggie garden exploits, dinner, and running around their cozy home (including seeing their kitty Martha Doodle), it was time to go home. We had such a good time though, we're looking forward to going back again soon. Thanks for a great visit Golly Manor!
