More from Thanksgiving Weekend!

We had a beautiful sunny weekend to enjoy, and with Daddy home an extra day, we made the most of it. We went to Whittamore's Farms to pick a pumpkin - a first for both me and Violet! It was tons of fun (in between a few crying fits....Vila doesn't like to miss her naps).

We enjoyed a wagon ride, a pumpkin cannon show (see Violet watching it?),

I milked a cow, some walks in the corn maze, and of course, we picked our pumpkins!

Then today, Mummy made an extra special dinner for our family. We had slow-cooker turkey with cranberry sauce, green beans almondine, and a yummy sweet potato casserole with pecan/sugar topping. Mmmmm. And as it was an extra-special day, we had apple pie (from Whittamore's) with real full-fat ice cream!!!! Extra mmmmm!

We said our thanks at the table - for our healthy family (and getting well soon Nanny!), our great home, our friends, and our very happy comfortable lives - we know we are blessed.
